The Dayton Hindu Temple, is a Hindu temple located in Beavercreek, Ohio. It serves the Hindu community of the Greater Dayton Area. Currently, there are shrines to the deities Venkateshwara, Rama along with Sita, Lakshmana and Hanuman, Ganesha, and Radha Krishna. ==History== The congregation was first organized in 1976. A. V. Rangarajan was instrumental in organizing the Indian community in Dayton. He was a founding member of the temple. A temple was consecrated in 1985 in Beavercreek. In 2009, ground was broken next to the temple in order to build a Puja Hall. The hall serves as a multipurpose area for celebrations, classes, and cultural activities. Starting in 2011, the temple underwent two years of major renovations. During these renovations, shrines to Bhagawan Chandramauli, Tripura Sundari, Bhudevi, Lakshmi and Navagraha were added. The end of construction was marked by a six day festival.〔
